On 20th and 29th of May, CDI Macedonia organised their national workshops "Decorative table balls”, “Glass art”, “Relaxation masks”. These workshops aimed to introduce local seniors and elder adult educators to the Catalogue activities in a practical and engaging way.

The workshops gathered 28 of participants across three different workshops. During these workshops, the participants actively participated in crafting decorative table balls, designing glass art, and making relaxation masks.
These workshops helped participants build new connections, share personal stories and ideas, and explore creative activities in a friendly and supportive environment. Through hands-on crafting, they developed fine motor skills, artistic expression, and relaxation techniques, while also boosting their confidence and sense of accomplishment. Many discovered a renewed passion for creativity and expressed interest in continuing to be active in creative initiatives. The workshops reinforced the value of lifelong learning, social interaction, and the joy of making something meaningful together.
After attending the workshops, participants were invited to complete a self-assessment form. Their feedback highlighted the enjoyment of shared creativity and the supportive atmosphere. Most expressed enthusiasm for future workshops, appreciating the blend of artistry, relaxation, and social connection.
Special thanks to the Members of the Local Promotion Teams who helped co-facilitate the workshops. Through the workshops they developed valuable skills in work with senior learners, adapting activities for different ability levels, and creating an inclusive atmosphere.
We also sincerely thank Lifelong Learning Network, for their support in organizing these workshops.
