On the 29th of April and 5th, 14th, 26th of May, Edukaciniai projektai organised their national workshops "Postcards decorated with dried flowers”, “Bookmark”, and “Home decoration out of old paper”. These workshops aimed to introduce local seniors and elder adult educators to the Catalogue activities in a practical and engaging way.

The workshops gathered 17 participants across three different workshops. During these workshops, the participants engaged in hands-on activities such as crafting decorative postcards with dried flowers, designing unique bookmarks, and creating birds (home decorations) from old paper.
These workshops offered participants a valuable opportunity to connect socially, explore their creativity, and engage with environmentally friendly crafting methods. They rediscovered the joy of hands-on creation and learned simple, sustainable techniques that could be replicated at home or shared with peers. The workshops also contributed to participants’ confidence and motivation to stay active and involved in community initiatives.
After attending the workshops, participants were invited to complete a short self-assessment form. Many highlighted the joy of being among peers, exchanging ideas, and making something meaningful. The majority expressed strong interest in attending similar workshops in the future and valued the inclusive, supportive learning environment.
Special thanks to the Members of the Local Promotion Teams who helped co-facilitate the workshops: Jolanta - Rector of the University of the Third Age, Zita and Danutė.
